Concept

Time deposit rollover means that when a time deposit matures, the system continues the principal or principal plus interest into a new time deposit according to customer instructions, product rules, or maturity instructions.

text
After one term matures, it does not simply end; principal or principal plus interest becomes the next term.

Rollover is not an ordinary transfer. It includes maturity judgment, interest calculation, funds handling, creation of the next term, and rollover-history traceability.

Why Rollover Matters

ProblemRollover Value
Customer does not handle maturity manually. The system can automatically renew funds under time deposit rules.
Customer wants interest to compound.Principal-and-interest rollover adds interest to the next principal.
Customer wants principal renewed but interest paid out.Principal rollover keeps principal in time deposit and credits interest to another account.
Need to explain principal, rate, and maturity changes.Rollover history links the old term and the new term.
