[9601] Institution Sign-on

9601 Institution Sign-on

Institution Sign-on opens the branch or operating unit for processing. It usually must happen before users under the institution can perform business transactions.

Risk controls: confirm institution code, business date, operating status, and whether prior-day closeout completed successfully.

[9602] Institution Sign-off

9602 Institution Sign-off

Institution Sign-off closes the institution for the business day. It should be done after users have completed transaction review, balancing, and sign-off.

Risk controls: check unreconciled user records, unfinished workflows, abnormal transactions, and institution-level balancing before sign-off.

[9603] Institution Information Inquiry

9603 Institution Information Inquiry

Institution Information Inquiry helps confirm institution identifiers, names, status, and operating information. It is useful when troubleshooting whether a user or transaction is allowed under an institution.
